Changes to the Breed Standard

The Club are pleased to announce that the proposed changes that were submitted to the PCGB in 2014 have now been agreed. On 22 February 2017, the PCGB Breed Standards Subcommittee met & discussed the Rosecomb Bantam standard. It was agreed to adopt the following changes:

'In Blacks - in both sexes: Beak black. Eyes - hazel to dark (not orange), a dark eye preferred.'

'Serious Defects (not disqualification) - In blacks, white-tipping.'

These changes will be in the 7th edition of the British Poultry Standards. The Club would like to thank all members for their input.
