Judge's Report - Clare Beebe
May I take this opportunity to thank members for allowing me the privilege of judging at this year's National, it was a great honour to be asked. There were just under seventy entries on show and like most other breed clubs there was a few empty cages due to birds not reaching the all important attributes for the show pen, twelve in all were empty.
After careful consideration I chose a nice pullet that was a good type, great head and tremendouse top colour with the award of Best Opposite Sex being given to a beautiful blue cockerel with splendid even colour, great broad feathering and no sign of lacing. Both birds belonged to SA&G Hodge congratulations to you both as I do appreciate what work goes into producing winners especially blues, both birds were worthy of their honours.
